Drop the Rocks | Let Go of Judgment, Shame & Condemnation

Aug 16, 2026    Pastor Jeff Stanford

What if your worst moment doesn’t get the final word? In John 8, a woman is dragged before Jesus, surrounded by accusation, judgment, and people ready to condemn her. But Jesus responds with grace: “Neither do I condemn you. Go and sin no more.”

In this powerful message, Drop the Rocks, we’re challenged to examine the stones we may still be carrying—the rocks of judgment, bitterness, offense, shame, condemnation, and unforgiveness.

Jesus doesn’t ignore sin, but He refuses to let our sin define our future. Grace doesn’t give us permission to stay where we are; grace gives us the power to leave it behind.

Your past may explain where you’ve been, but it doesn’t have to determine where you’re going. Jesus offers forgiveness, restoration, freedom, and a fresh start.

It’s time to drop the rocks.
